FRED CREWS

1942-2016

Fred Crews was born to Denzel Crews and Mary Blondin on October 13, 1942 in Santa Clara, California.  Fred was the second youngest of five children.

Fred began his career as a police officer before transitioning into security.  He moved on to work for a sporting goods store where he enjoyed working and being around his hobbies.

Fred married his first wife, Billie Crews, and had two children, Suzie and Corry.  He married his second wife, Terry, and had two children, Adam and Aerin.

Fred enjoyed the outdoors.  He loved camping, fishing, shooting, the beach, and gardening. He loved riding his motorcycle and shared his love of riding with his son, Corry.  He enjoyed working with his hands and produced cute wooden animals, full of character, which led to a craft business with his wife, Terry.

He had a passion for all things trains, and used to chase steam trains in the area with his daughter, Aerin.  His children Suzie and Adam inherited his crazy sense of humor.

Fred loved music and enjoyed playing his ukuleles, in particular his banjo ukulele, with his wife, Terry.

He enjoyed his time with his grandkids, Joshua, Ayden, Isabella, and Zoe, constantly bragging about them.

Fred was always someone to be counted on to be there for those he loved. He would lovingly and relentlessly tease those he cared for and shared his humor with all.

Fred was preceded in death by his parents, Denzel and Mary, and his siblings Barbara, Dick, and Donna. He is survived by his wife, Terry; children, Suzie, Corry, Adam and Aerin; grandchildren, Joshua, Ayden, Isabella and Zoe; sister, Mary-Margaret, and many nieces and loved ones whom were also family.

Fred will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him.
